Capitalism
Many of today’s big business feel free to take advantage of the common worker in favor of gaining riches for them selves. For example, Wal Mart gives the American people the extra low prices we want, but at the same time pay the workers just a little above minimum wage after receiving major profits. A large percent of our citizens argue that we should expect more sociological justice from this capitalist country. On the other hand I noticed the formula of many big businesses require the nine to five workers to be accommodated for his physical labor on a low scale. I think everyone has an opportunity to become rich to some extent. The fact is that all do not posses the will to acquire the knowledge. There are many financial literacy books and seminars for people who want the success of the 20th century big business’. But all can not be wealthy because then it wouldn’t effective economy. Someone has to work, manage, and own the businesses in order to make the world go round. Should workers at the Fresh Food Market really who have no investment in education really get paid as much as the student who is $40,000 in dept because of his pursuit of happiness. Or that same student as the millionaire who also took the chance of investing in his company. Capitalism has made America what it is today, the land of the free market and home of the brave investors. If our country becomes one ran by a socialist government than our options of financial freedom will surely become limited.
